The Courses

Our courses are divided into lessons containing text, video, and interactive activities. Lessons should be completed in the order they are presented, as the courses have been designed to build up skills and understanding from lesson to lesson.

At the end of each lesson, there is an interactive assessment/quiz. These provide instant feedback, and the grades are recorded.

Finally, there are tutor-marked assessments to be completed and submitted. These are past exam papers and will help you to prepare for the exams. Your tutor will provide in depth feedback and a grade.

International GCSEs

IGCSEs, or International GCSEs, were originally developed for UK students living abroad so that they could study UK qualifications. The main difference used to be the lack of coursework in the IGCSE, but since coursework has now been removed from most GCSE courses, there is little difference between the two. Depending on the subject, there may be small differences in the way the course is structured and assessed.

IGCSEs are recognised as equivalent to GCSEs by all UK colleges, universities, training providers and employers. IGCSEs are also recognised abroad. The UK school system generally provides GCSEs, but private schools often provide IGCSEs or both.
